Jesse Ledin (Le-Dean) started his career in 2002 starting as a tradesman in residential construction and later became a superintendent – learning the business, skillsets, and process of construction. Several years later he started a design-build company in the suburbs of Minneapolis. J.Ledin Construction was a one-stop shop for residential projects. The company became well known for its thoughtful service and attention to detail.
After over a decade of working in the industry, he returned to school to pursue his architectural education, enabling him to hybridize his background in business and construction with design at a larger scale. He received his education at Woodbury University, in Southern California, and University of Colorado Denver – receiving a number of awards and accolades at local, state, and regional levels. During his Master of Architecture education at University of Colorado Denver he explored topics ranging from emerging digital and parametric design technology to design-build, lean project delivery, and process integration and automation.
Before starting Intentional Architecture, Jesse worked at several notable design firms including Open Studio Architecture, RNL Design, and Studio B Architects. He has worked on custom single family, townhome, multi-family, mixed-use, office, and retail projects. Through word of mouth, clients began seeking out his experience and thoughtful design approach on their projects. This was the catalyst for starting Intentional Architecture, a studio style firm, based on providing high quality design rooted in an authentic expression of each client’s lifestyle and values.
Jesse is a Colorado licensed Architect running Intentional Architecture from Lafayette, Colorado.
Jesse often spends his free time in the mountains skiing, rafting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He also likes finding opportunities to invest in and develop real estate – creating boutique properties with identity and meaning.
